Fear

In the shadows where moonlight fades,
Fear lurks in the darkest of shades.
It whispers softly into the night,
A phantom haunting out of sight.
It creeps and crawls, blowing a chilling breeze,
Around every corner, tucked in every crease.
It dances menacingly with the quivering trees,
And paints the world with the color of unease.
Fears tendrils coil, it's grip crushing and tight,
Binding every heart with paralyzing fright.
It feeds on doubt, on anxious breath,
And fills the soul silently with agonizing death.
But in the midst of the darkest night,
There flickers still a gentle light.
For courage can bloom in a fearful heart,
Allowing bravery to rip fear apart.
So let us rise, with strength untamed,
To face the fears that cannot remain.
For in the end, though shadows may leer,
Fear will fade when courage draws near.

THIS! It moved me!!
